Elm - Bends, but doesn’t break.
Elm stands out from other wood species with its resistance to bending. This exceptionally durable wood is very tenacious, not tearing or splitting when bent. That’s because the tree has an interlocking grain: the wood grain spirals upwards, but in contrasting directions in different annual rings making the wood very rigid.
Elm wood darkens little when in contact with air. Its annual rings have a clearly distinguishable color variation giving the wood an extravagant and personal feel.

Adjusting the watch band length
Aarni Watches are made to fit all wrist sizes. The wooden band can be adjusted to match your wrist size by removing or adding band links. Each watch is supplied with extension links and small screwdrivers that allow the band to be adjusted conveniently at home, too. The video shows you how to adjust the band length.
