Automatic Movement - Prestigious Mechanics.
Miyota 8215 automatic movement gives a heartbeat for the watch. It is a real workhorse and lasts well maintained from father to son.
The movement doesn’t contain any electronics. It stores the running energy released from the wrist movement into a spring inside. There are 21 jewels in the movement to minimize the friction and ensure that the watch runs smoothly and precisely. It is fascinating to follow the movement in action through the sapphire glass back cover.

Curly Birch - Wooden Marble.
Revered as the wooden marble of the Nordics, curly birch truly symbolizes the value of Nordic nature. Curly birch is the only wood species to trade in kilograms, not in cubic meters. Its value can be up to 100-fold compared to other Nordic wood species. The Central European aristocracy and the Russian Tsar too, have appreciated this valuable Finnish wood in history: Alexander I is known to have donated a complete set of furniture to Napoleon, made entirely of curly birch.
The curling is a naturally occurring mutation of the silver birch. The beautiful curly pattern makes every piece of curly birch is unique.

I just received this watch tonight December 28, 2022. This watch is so beautiful and exceptional elegance. The colour of bronze is harmonized so well with the beige colour of the curly birch wood, yet, it is enhanced with the light-creamy colour of the dial. The design of the watch and the colours are so pleasing to the eyes. It is a strange feeling: I feel this watch is a part of my body, it is not an alien thing! Even the watch case is also beautiful. There are tools that I use to adjust the band length and a nice thank you card with very friendly hand-writing. It is indeed a magic that this watch makes me want to visit your beautiful country. Thank you for designing such a special watch. Somehow, the design brings me a sense of peace. All sorrow is gone away when I look at it! Thank you again!

Kevyt, mukava ranteessa. Kyllä tuo suomalainen visakoivu on vaan upeaa materiaalia! Aarnin aurinkolasit vakuuttivat erinomaisella laadullaan ja niin tekee kyllä tämä visakoivuinen Atlas -kellokin! Koneisto pysyy todella hyvin ajassaan, eli automatiikka säädetty erinomaisesti. Älykello jäänyt yöpöydälle tämän tultua taloon. Kellon laatikko erittäin tyylikäs ja rannekkeen lisäpalat tulevat mukana, kuten myös kaikki tarvittavat työkalutkin. Hatunnosto Aarnille erittäin hyvin mietityistä tuotteista ja todella korkeatasoisesta laadusta!

Adjusting the watch band length
Aarni Watches are made to fit all wrist sizes. The wooden band can be adjusted to match your wrist size by removing or adding band links. Each watch is supplied with extension links and small screwdrivers that allow the band to be adjusted conveniently at home, too. The video shows you how to adjust the band length.
